How did the state influence the lives of young people?
After a topic-based introduction, the course focuses on the discussion of the state mechanisms that determined the everyday life of young people in the GDR. The pupils can gain insight into a sample of historical reality by working in stations. The following focal points are set:
- Forming the socialist character
- Educating the socialist character
- Under surveillance of state security
- Young people in resistance
