Human dignity is inviolable. The German people are therefore committed to inviolable and inalienable human rights as the basis of every human community, peace and justice in the world, as stated in Article 1 of the Grundgesetz (Constitution).
What are the rights of the child? What do these rights mean in our children’s daily lives? Do these rights apply everywhere? These and other questions will be addressed in this module using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
